Colour Story
This palette leans earthy, muted, and organic—softened and warm rather than bright. The backdrop is a gentle antique ivory, subtly warmed to mimic aged paper. Botanical illustrations bloom in tones of sage, dusty olive, soft laurel green, and herbaceous mint, with occasional accents of buttercream yellow, subtle lavender-grey, and deep inky plum. These hues feel authentic to traditional plant studies—natural, subdued, and delicately tonal. The frames and border are rendered in a grounded taupe-brown, adding structure while keeping the aesthetic soft, neutral, and beautifully understated.
